Cold Email Tip of the Day: using “.info” sub-domains for cold email inboxes can be nearly as effective as “.com” sub-domains, while being ¼ the price. I recommend adding .infos to the mix to reduce costs at scale vs just using .coms TLDs.

Should you reveal pricing when prospects ask?

Short answer: No

This is a common mistake I see sales people make when response handling is revealing pricing when prospects ask. Understand that once you reveal pricing, no matter how good of a deal it is, the sale immediately becomes 2X harder.

Use this response template instead:

Hey {FIRST_NAME}, pricing varies - but we typically do {PRICING MODEL, NOT EXACT COST}.

Can't give you a specific number since it depends on {CUSTOMER NEEDS}.

We can speak for 7-9 minutes about this briefly if you wouldn't be opposed to it.

If you're open to it I'll send over an invite, if not no worries.

This is a believable way to push the conversation further for prospects who are truly interested in your offer beyond just pricing. The reason selling because so much more difficult once price is revealed is due to the fact that no one likes to be sold to. The moment you reveal pricing, the prospect remembers they are being sold to again, which changes the frame completely and makes them defensive especially since its coming from a complete stranger over email.

Use the template above to convert more “What’s pricing?” objections from your email campaigns.

Have a blessed day,

Christian
