How to make email deliverability less of a pain in the ass
Since 2023, there’s been a “schism” in cold email that’s made deliverability 100x harder than it had ever been before then.
This is due to the mass adoption of AI at the time, ChatGPT had just came out and companies like Google and Microsoft were moving quickly to adopt AI within their email monitoring algorithms.
Before then, 5-10% reply rates were common, took minimal effort really.
Nowadays, if you’re hitting a 2% reply rate at scale, you’re doing pretty good.
Most orgs’ outbound motions have been completely nerfed due to these deliverability changes – can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a prospect come to me saying that their cold email was working great back in 2021-22, but now they book no meetings.
