Outbound Tip of the Day: We found that replying to leads after 10 minutes after an interested response led to a 50%+ drop off rate in meetings booked. Replying in <5 minutes is optimal for meeting conversion from cold email.
How this B2B business is generating 26 leads/day from cold email:
We recently scaled this client’s volume from 30k -> 120k emails/mo and generated 2X our previous MONTHLY lead volume in just 3 days of sending (~65 leads/mo -> 26 leads/day).
Screenshot from today:

That’s a 8.8X in lead flow overnight.
Not to mention as well, our client closed 8 deals from our previous sending volume since August of this year.
Convo with client:

From August to December, we generated 339 leads (leads that resulted in the 8 deals + more deals in the pipeline) — we are now on pace to generate 572 leads/month, which is more leads flow on a monthly basis than we had generated for the last 5 months.
Aug to Dec results:

I also want to note that our interested lead to emails sent ratio improved from 1/418 all the way down to 1/147. That's a 2.84X improvement in campaign results WHILE 4Xing overall email sending volume. Campaigns are drastically improving as we scale.
TLDR: Our client is now on pace to close 13 deals/mo with 120k emails/mo volume + campaign results 2.84X'd while 4X-ing sending volume.
What levers did we pull for this impact?
1. Infrastructure + volume
2. Lead sourcing
Here's exactly what we did:
INFRASTRUCTURE + VOLUME
We approached our client about the idea of scaling volume since we had found validation for our offer + market and new there was opportunity for much greater reach as our client's TAM is massive.
So we went to ScaledMail and set up 300 new Google inboxes to account for the new volume.
My hypothesis on why we've seen an exponential jump in results is due to simply having fresh inboxes in the rotation. These had warmed for 4 weeks, so they were primed.
Many companies running outbound are often just an inbox swap away from a breakthrough for their campaigns.
LEAD SOURCING
Since our client was targeting local, we opted-in for scraping directly from Google maps vs using traditional lead sources like Apollo or Zoominfo.
This was not only a big lever in terms of expanding our TAM, but the lead quality increased quite a bit as well.
We use Clay's Google maps feature to source leads, then enrich for contact data using our go-to waterfall being Icypeas, Prospeo.io, & LeadMagic.
These 2 fairly simple levers resulted in a 8.8X in results, being a testament to how so many B2B companies are just a few micro adjustments away from creating an outbound system that prints leads for their sales team.
